Texans hire Phillips as defensive coordinator

The Houston Texans have hired former Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips as their new defensive coordinator.

Phillips had a lot of success as a defensive coordinator with other teams in the past but has his work cut out for him in Houston.

The Texans had one of the worst pass defenses in the league and were third-worst in yards allowed.

Houston just recently fired their defensive coordinator and a number of defensive assistants and position coaches. (Read More…)

The Houston Texans finally finished off an opponent with a 34-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Running back Arian Foster capped an incredible season by rushing for 180 yards and two touchdowns.

The Texans were able to get the job done despite being without wide receiver Andre Johnson and defensive end Mario Williams.

Wideout Jacoby Jones had five catches for 70 yards while taking over the star role from Johnson. (Read More…)
